Before you write

The questions people ask on the call anyway.

01How much does a project cost?

Most engagements land between $10k and $50k, and the shape matters more than the number: a scoped MVP, a defined AI feature inside an existing product, or a monthly retainer for ongoing work. Tell us the budget you have rather than the one you think we want, and we will tell you honestly whether it buys the thing you described.

02Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit. Work happens in your repository or one we transfer to you at handover, with no runtime dependency on anything we keep. Our free packs are MIT licensed for the same reason: we would rather be hired again than hold anyone hostage.

03We are a small team. Are we too small for you?

Probably not. We keep the client list short, so a project that would be rounding error at a large agency is a real engagement here. The one thing that does not work is a brief with no decision-maker in the room: if nobody on your side can say yes, the call will not go anywhere useful.

04How fast can you start?

Usually within two weeks, sometimes sooner for a scoped piece of work. We prefer two to six week sprints with something usable at the end of each one, rather than a six-month plan that nobody can course-correct.

05Do you do AI work, or just websites?

Both, and increasingly the first. Voice agents, retrieval systems, agent workflows, and the evaluation harnesses that keep them honest are a large share of what we ship now. The web work is what makes the AI work usable by an actual customer.
