Work Well Mats — industrial matting store
An ecommerce and quoting site for an Australian industrial matting supplier trading since 1994. A shop for buyers who know what they need, and a mat finder and quote builder for everyone else.

Matting gets sold to two buyers on the same page. One knows the size and wants to check out in two minutes. The other has a wet, greasy, oddly shaped floor and no idea which material solves it, and that sale only closes through a quote.
A site organised around what the floor needs to do, not around the catalogue. Buyers who know what they want reach the shop in one click. Everyone else goes through a three-question mat finder, a free sample, or one quote for the whole site.
Most matting sites are a catalogue with a search bar, which works for the buyer who already speaks rubber compounds. Most buyers do not. They know their floor is wet, or greasy, or that people stand on it for ten hours a day, and they need the site to do the translating.
We designed the WordPress theme and every page template around that. The home page asks what your floor needs to do and maps five answers to product families. The shop filters by workplace condition, and each product says plainly whether it can be bought off the shelf or needs a quote. Custom matting starts from whatever the customer already has, a photo, a sketch or a floor plan, and the quote builder puts every mat for a site into one request.
The look is industrial on purpose. Heavy type, real workplace photography instead of product on white, and the phone number in the top bar of every page for the buyers who would rather ring. Content and ongoing updates sit with the Work Well Mats team.
