Tru Terms — fractional legal support, Dubai
A site for a Dubai legal consultancy that gives UAE businesses a dedicated legal team on monthly retainer or per project. Fees agreed up front, Arabic and English drafting in house, and WhatsApp as the front door.
Legal help in the UAE is usually sold by the hour, in language clients cannot read, with invoices that arrive after the fact. A founder in their first year in Dubai needs help with paperwork they did not know existed, and has little reason to trust a law firm's website.
A site built like the engagement itself. The retainer is written as an actual Schedule A, each clause shown in legal wording and then in plain language. Every practice area opens a pre-written WhatsApp message, so the first conversation starts where the client already is.
Tru Terms places experienced counsel inside a business for less than the cost of one full-time hire. The team brings thirteen years of combined practice across the UK and the GCC, drafts in Arabic and English, and has internationally registered mediators in house. The site had to make that feel easy to start, not expensive to ask about.
We built the home page around a first year in Dubai, told one document at a time: a trade licence renewal nobody mentioned, a lease clause skimmed at midnight, a client contract drafted by the other side. Then comes the retainer itself, five clauses in legal wording with the plain-English version underneath. Six practice areas follow, from corporate work to construction disputes and mediation, and each one opens WhatsApp with the message already written. Insights run on Payload CMS, so new articles on UAE law go up without a code change.
Warm ivory, a serif with some weight, and a compass as the one recurring mark. Most law firm sites try to look expensive. This one tries to look like it will answer you.
